School Uniform

During the Spring term we consulted pupils, parents and staff about our school uniform due to the latest guidance from the Department of Education.

You said …..

… ‘I don’t like the logo and that it disappears over time’.

….’branded uniforms are expensive and kids grow out of them quickly’

……‘the red jumper shows the dirt’.

……‘it can get itchy and makes you hot.’

‘all black trainers are fine and are comfortable for children’

That the new uniform should be:

….‘ a different colour that won’t show the marks’ ’

…….‘has a different logo’

….’should be available from the high street’

……’should cost less money’

……‘we need a  uniform so they know we are a school’.

We have reviewed all the feedback and from September 2022 our new uniform will be:

  • a ‘v neck’ navy jumper or cardigan for all children.
  • For reception to year 5 pupils: A plain white polo shirt
  • For year 6 pupils: A light blue polo shirt
  • Grey skirt, dress, trousers or shorts
  • Blue check dresses for summer
  • School shoes should be black or black trainers
  • Headscarves should be navy

All children need a PE kit:

  • A pair of blue or black shorts or leggings
  • A plain white t shirt or navy t shirt
  • A pair of trainers or plimsolls.

Our school uniform is not branded and can therefore be bought from a range of high street suppliers. We are currently finalising the supplier for the school book bags.

There will be a period of transition over the next few months but all children will need to be wearing the new uniform by September 2022.

School uniform does get lost or mislaid. Please help us to find it easily by writing your child’s name on all items of clothing.
