Extended School Childcare
At Hugh Myddelton Primary School, we understand how essential good quality childcare is for our working parents and carers, which is why we manage our own in-house childcare provision run with our experienced staff. Our aim is to provide affordable, high quality, reliable, year-round childcare within our school setting.
Breakfast Club
Times: 8.00 – 9.00am Ages: 3 - 11
Breakfast Club is run by our school staff and offers a great way for children to start the day in a relaxed environment. We provide a choice of healthy breakfasts, followed by activities and free play time.
If you would like your child(ren) to join, please fill in an application form, available on request at the School Office.
Please contact the school office for daily cost rates.
After School Club
Times: 3.30 – 5.55pm Ages: 3 - 11
We run our own after school childcare (After School Club), staffed by experienced, qualified staff who offer our children a friendly, relaxed and high-quality experience, where children can explore and learn through play.
The staff collect the children at the end of the school day and take them to our After School Club in the school, where they will have a healthy snack. After that we offer both free play and structured activities including arts and crafts, sports, construction, cooking, games, imaginative play, gardening and lots more. This is a great way for children to make friends across the school. We have a special area where early years children can relax and play.
Children attending the After School Club may also attend an activity club.
Please contact the school office for daily cost rates.
All extended school provision must be booked through the Arbor Parent App. If you need support booking your child in for a place, please contact the school office. Please note that spaces are limited and children must be booked in in advance.
For queries regarding our extended schools provision please contact ExtendedSchool@LQPS.co.uk
The Playcentre and Breakfast Club are registered with Ofsted as part of the school not as a separate provision, and meet the requirements of the Ofsted Childcare Register. Our registration number is 131842.
