Friends of Hugh Myddelton PTA

Friends of Hugh Myddelton is a registered charity and is the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Hugh Myddelton Primary School. The mission of the PTA is to make the school a better place for children to learn. Members bring the school community together for social and cultural exchanges as well as to raise funds to support improvements at school. The role of the PTA is to work with and for the benefit of everyone in our school community and must be available to all children without discrimination.

Over the last 12 months, Friends of Hugh Myddelton PTA has organised community events and raised funds through events like the Summer Fair, Winter Fair, Easter Egg Hunt, International Day and easyfundraising. The PTA was able to fund 100% of the cost for a brand-new play area for the Reception classes.

For the 2023/2024 academic year we are raising funds for a new Key Stage 2 playground.

For the 2023/2024 academic year the PTA will be hosting the following events:

Winter Fair: Thursday, December 14th, 2023, 3:45pm to 6:00pm

International Day: Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, 3:45pm to 6:00pm

Summer Fair: Saturday, July 13th, 2024, 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Annual General Meeting: Friday, July 19th, 2024, TBC

The PTA is looking to grow parent involvement. There are multiple ways of participating, whether it be serving on the PTA committee or as a class representative, volunteering at an event, donating something, or showing up and enjoying one of the events, we hope to accommodate many different levels of involvement.
